Lovely

Beloved do you know what God is really like? Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, and self-control are not His attributes (Gal. 5:22). They are His character, and He is offering them to you.

These are a storehouse of power, promise, and provision. No enemy offence can overwhelm them and no enemy defence can stand against them (Gal 5:23). When circumstances challenge you, this is the brilliant question that will lead you away from negativity and toward a transforming encounter with the nature of God.

You have full access to all the Fruit of the Spirit, so in any situation, but especially in warfare, discover which Fruit God wants to go ahead of you. No one, for example, has the power to offend or make you angry when you choose to lead with love and patience. First experience His love and patience for you, then allow it to saturate the relationship or circumstance.

Don’t surrender your identity to negative emotions. Your enemy has brought negatives into your life for years. God is offering you the opposite. The nature of God is your inheritance. You are known in heaven as the Beloved, full of patience, gentleness, joy, and self-control. You radiate love and peace.

But Beloved, this is a process. You will sometimes choose anxiety even when peace is available. God enjoys every conflict you have with your old nature because He delights in being your deliverer.
